Using Codes or Remotes?

Why not?
Codes and Remote Controls are convenience not security. Think about it this way. Could you ever imagine every house in a community having the same key -or- every door in an office building? Absolutely not! Well every remote control and “clicker” are programmed the same. There is no difference.
Codes are no better; even if you have more then one. Codes by nature are shared. There is no stopping it. One time vendors, reoccurring deliveries, guests - the codes get out. Within a year the amount of people that now have a code could triple.
There is a better way.
Cloud based access control systems from COR Security is the solution. Every resident or employee will have a unique serialized credential. Easily delete credentials as needed without effecting anyone else. That means that individuals that have moved on will be DENIED access if they try to come back. You can even have the system send you an email if they try.
Credentials can be key fobs, cards, or passive stickers that are placed on vehicles. A more popular option is to your phone as the credential.
What about visitors
Visitors can be handled in a couple different ways. If they are reoccurring vendors they can receive the same type of credentials as residents/employees. However you can also restrict their hours. Maybe they shouldn’t be there at 2am on a Saturday.
For one time vendors or guests. Residents/office staff can simply remotely open the gate using a phone app.
More features and security
The system has an activity log listing which users entered the gate or remotely opened it. Very useful for tracking down problems at, or beyond the gate.
Managing the system is very easy and doesn’t take much time at all. You can do it all from a website no matter where you are. No more special software or dedicated computer you might of had for old school entry systems.
